University and MIT, co-sponsored a lecture in honor of the renowned Spanish and Mexican structural engineer Felix Candela, who led the early exploration of concrete shell structures. These
lectures, given by some of Candela's most eminent and creative colleagues and successors - structural engineers working worldwideon everything from high-rise office-building to bridges to
