Rhapsody in Blood

At loose ends between jobs, disgraced journalist Benjamin Justice joins an old friend, LA Times reporter Alexandra Templeton on a movie set at a faded California desert resort where they are filming a movie about the 1950s murder of a film star and the lynching of local black man for the killing, but the set is in an uproar over the murder of a feared gossip columnist who may have known too much about the old crime. 15,000 first printing.
