Black Elk in Paris

Madou, a strong-willed young woman in a family who is fed up with the arrogance of French culture and the constraints it puts on women, is strangely drawn to Black Elk, a Native American Indian with whom she eventually falls in love, but when Madou and Phillipe, a likeable physician, try to help him, it is Black Elk who ends up transforming the lives of those around him.
