Erin and Jessica, one-time best friends growing up in a small Arizona town, are reunited when Jessica, a New York magazine journalist, returns to ask Erin, a hometown innkeeper, to switch places with her for six months to give Jessica a chance to reconcile with her estranged family, but neither woman expects the dramatic impact of the exchange.
