Clara Barton: Brave Nurse

Overcoming her own personal shortcomings, Clara Barton ignored the rules of etiquette and got involved in the Civil War where she risked her own life to save injured soldiers wounded in battle and, later in life, became a celebrated American figure as the woman who created the American Red Cross.
