Despite the laws of segregation, the airport at Blind Eye promised that African-Americans would get jobs as pilots if they came to work there, but when they arrived, the promise wasn� fulfilled and soon the moon went away in protest until the ban was lifted and Joe-Joe� father got his chance to soar.
