After losing her mother and sister to a devastating fire and completing the mourning period of a Jewish shiva, Cara Segal comes to realize that everything in her life has changed, yet determined to regain some normalcy in the family she has left, Cara decides to reopen Julia's Kitchen--her mother's catering business--in the hopes of reconnecting with the life she once had.
