Charlotte’s Rose

While working for her father transporting goods on push wagons along the Mormon Train in 1856, 12-year-old Charlotte helps a distraught father take care of his new baby after his wife dies giving birth and, after becoming very attached, struggles with having to give the precious bundle back at the end of their travels.
