When she discovers that her friend, Rollo the troll, went missing after he left the Dismal Swamp to see his fairy friend Clipper, Ludicra realizes that she must be the one to locate her friend and so heads on a journey, with a cast of helpful trolls, ogres, and gnomes, to the Great Chasm to locate him and bring him home.
