Bad Seed

When Professor Kate Barnett, an avid proponent of genetic engineering, turns up murdered in her lab following a demonstration against bioengineered food, the local activists become prime suspects in the crime, but journalist Alex Bernier's investigation turns up a wide array of other suspects who all had reason to hate the professor.
