While under investigation for excessive use of force, Detroit cop Danny Cavanaugh is assigned to a case involving the murder of a wealthy black couple, but the crime is not what it seems when another prominent black woman is murdered, forcing Danny to catch a psychotic killer before he becomes the next victim.
