Badger Boy

After his company of rangers, assigned to protect Texas settlers from attacks by hostile Native American tribes, is disbanded, David 'Rusty' Shannon returns home to his land on the Red River, where he encounters a much changed world and a young white boy known as Badger Boy who had been taken from his murdered parents by a Comanche warrior.
