A Bus of Our Own

Based on actual events, a touching story of courage, determination, and community, set in rural Mississippi in the late 1940s, follows Mable Jean as she bravely walks five miles to school each day, while being tormented by the white children who pass by her on the bus, causing Mable Jean to ask why black children don't have a bus of their own.
