Imani’s Music

At first, the Heavens only gave the grasshoppers of Africa the gift of music until the grasshoppers asked for their tunes to be shared, thus soon the whole continent and its people were filled with song that was then carried on slave ships to the New World where it has spread even further since its arrival.
