作者簡介

約翰‧葛里遜（John Grisham）

1955年生於美國阿肯色州。密西西比州立大學法學院畢業，曾任執業律師。從小家貧的葛里遜曾夢想成為職棒球員，爾後興趣漸漸轉向文學。在近乎十年的法界生涯中，葛里遜看遍人生百態，並利用公餘將其轉化為小說養分。1989年發表第一本小說《A Time To Kill殺戮時刻》，而他的第二本書《The Firm黑色豪門企業》出版後大受歡迎，也讓他坐上法律驚悚小說之王的寶座。
