From the Music Now Festival to ACE Adventure Camp, students are explorers, magazine makers, and English learners all at once with this shining series! Depicting real people and places, the series invites students to join other teenagers in their quest to gather magazine-style information. Each level features 4-5 full-color units of four integrated skills lessons. The two-page lessons highlight friendly dialogues and short, manageable tasks. Unique to this series, the second half of each student book is a black and white workbook-style section, making it great for homework assignments and extension activities--plus it's a two-in-one deal! Finish all levels and students will have a full-blown version of "Shine Mag"--their personally created magazine! Particularly suitable for mixed-ability classes.
